Time for a new column! Creative book club!
I love the way bloggers like Freutcake and A Beautiful Mess have given the book club a second home online. I adore the conversation it starts and the way it brings new books to our attention that we usually wouldn’t have picked up. And it’s totally low-key. No time to read this month? No problem! There’s no in-person group meeting to awkwardly stumble through (or avoid altogether - we’ve all been there) if you didn’t have time to pick up a copy.
So I was staring at my big bookshelf of craft and cookbooks and thought hey, why not do the same for creative books? It can be hard to decide what crafting books are worth the money, so I’d like to help! Each month we’ll look at a specific book and a few crafts inspired by it. This month, October, will be A Beautiful Messes’s new book, A Happy Handmade Home. Which I must say I’m totally geeked about! We’ll discuss the book on Monday October 29th. So get ready!
