Hello Everyone! Happy Monday
I don’t know about you all but sometimes, it seems to just take me far too long to get my creative brain in gear on Mondays. So I got into the habit of finding my favorite links from the week before, it starts my day off on a positive note (Yay for a happy headspace!) and makes me think of all the wonderful things I can do in the week to come. Let’s dive right in!
Okay, have you ever had a popover? These fluffy little clouds of heaven are PERFECT for breakfast with a little butter and strawberry jam. I’ve been making these 5 ingredient popovers every chance I can get. Fun fact when I made these for “Chiquita” (my little sister who is actually in her 20’s), she squealed. I mean literally squealed with delight – apparently our Nana made these for her.
Really loving the personal summer style of Ashley of Sugar & Cloth in her latest Styl.d by post.
This quick and easy tutorial on using facial highlighters was really helpful. Fun fact – thanks to my job I landed a bunch of Benefit mini samples and now I can’t wait to try Sun Beam!
I’m pretty sure that Toshiko Shek is my interior design spirit animal, except without the animal part. Whatever, you know what I mean right? Basically I really dig her decor.
My freelance design life has be building an online shop (more on that later) which made this D*S post on Digital Storefronts a godsend. That’s right I do research.
Last but not least – I really adore this book on DKNY PR GIRL, Aliza Licht. I was worried about how relevant it would be for me but I literally cannot put it down!
Super Simple DIY: Confetti Table Runner
- 1 hole punch
- 1 inch radius circle punch
- Colored Card Stock
Sit down in front of a favorite movie and punch out as many circles as you please! Aesthetically I like a 4:1 ration of little circles to large circles. When you feel you’ve got enough, scatter them down the center of the table, being sure to keep the larger circles in the mix throughout. This little DIY really brightens my day!
