Clearly I’m on a dessert kick as we enter Labor Day weekend. I was blown away by the Dessert Sushi on The House that Lars Built this week and it sparked a little inspiration for a new DIY using cookie dough. Seriously so clever! Here’s a fun fact, I cannot resist the colorful delight that is rainbow sprinkles. Judging by my sisters love of “jimmies” as well it must be hereditary. Another fun fact I freaked when I saw homemade Pocky on Food 52 this week. For those currently going, what is this pocky you speak of? Pocky is essentially a long skinny cookie dipped in chocolate that’s quite popular in Japan. I went through a whole phase in life where I loved all things Japan (still do actually). Throw in the super adorable felt fortune cookie garland and the summer corn risotto and I think we’ve got a great summer send off in the works here! What are you all doing for the holidays?
